I am so proud of myself for thinking of this. What was orginally started out as a way to carry my sons millions of pixar CARS cars turned into a way to carry Thomas trains in the take along and wooden series. I am going to be making more of these and some more of the ones for the cars. So what do you think??

Watch out I'm getting festive. I for one am not a big fan of the holidays but I am sure having fun buying holiday fabric!! I made this to put in my shop. I just need to finish it this evening. I can not for the life of me hand sew so I top stiching this!!

My oldest son is almost 3 and he's getting to that point where he can't leave the house without a arm full of toys. I am in no way exaggerating. One day we left the house to dinner with 2 Thomas trains (not the little ones the big ones that take c batteries) and this little car roll up i made that had 4 disneys the CARS cars in it. Today we go to leave and he brings his MACK (again from that movie) truck with its trailer!! I have decided it's time he gets a cute tote to carry all these toys with him. So heres the beginning of his tote.

Or should I say some mothers. I love that I can go to this awesome website (www.cafemom.com) and talk to other moms because honestly all my friends are in different places in there lives. I have one friend whose kids are in elementry school (and their girls) and she works full time and then my other great friend doesnt even have kids so nobody knows where I am coming from in my everyday life of BOY toddlerhood.
So as much as I love me some cafemom some of the moms over there are just down right rude. I have never seen so many grown ass women think they are the BEST MOM ON EARTH. Who are they to judge other people much less of mothers? I was reading a question that somebody wrote earlier in the question thread and it was something along the lines of SHOULD TEENAGERS MARRY? That kinda upset me since I was 19 when I got married but then I was reading the replies and I just couldn't believe some of the replies saying if your that age you aren't mature enough to be married and such and it made me rather upset. Sorry but I didn't know there was a certain age that marriage was easy. What age does that come at? 25? 30? 35? No matter how old you are its hard! I think that nowadays divorce is to easy so when shit gets bumpy people go packing there bags because its not some long drawn out process anymore and its more "acceptable"
Sorry about the rant things like that just upset me!

what a week

So I got a custom order on Etsy for a matching scarf, hat, and mitten set with a pretty little ballerina embroidered on them. I went to start and my machine started acting up. Well comes to find out my timing was off then I need to adjust my bobbin tension. So once it got fixed I got cracking on the set. I have the mittens and scarf done as I am waiting for the hat size. Here's how it looks so far.

I just got some new colors of fleece and hoping to add some mittens to my store soon. They were so much fun to make!!!

sorry i havent wrote for awhile. i have been overwhelmed by all my projects and my messy table. i have cleaned it off and went to start that journal and realized I dont have a lot of the fabric needed on hand to make it, so i am going to put it off for awhile. i am working on this cute little card tote and am filling it up with goodies. can't wait to finish to share with everybody!!

crafting journal

so after thinking and talking to other I have decided that I desperatly need to make a crafters journal to put all the ideas in my head. I am going to make a fabric cover for a composition book. I will work on that today and then I will post how it looks and all that fun stuff tonight or tomorrow.

christmas time

so its getting to be that time of year and I thought I better get cracking and make some cards to put up in my store. So I made a rough draft. whatcha think??? I personally lean toward the non-traditional colors of hot pink, black and bright green but I don't think I did to bad!!

my table

I have a rather long table in my craft room. its 7.5 feet by 3.5 feet so one would think that i have more then enough room to craft. Nope I don't. one side has my sewing/embroidery machine and the serger and the other side I set up to have a cutting area/paper craft area. On this rather large table as I stand here and type (yep stand no sitting for me) I count 7 projects started and this isn't even counting the many that aren't on the table. If I dig around in the many piles I have scattered through around I am sure I would find more. This is were the obsessive part comes into play. I can't decide what to do. I have way to many ideas and not enough time in the day to do them all. What I really need to do I think is write these things done but then I would be organized and I can't craft organized. I need to have a chaotic mess I think. I hope I am not alone on this one.

I have a slight obsession for Etsy. I love that I can go to etsy and find something that I can't find in the store. I can actually find cute things to wear, use, or play with in colors and patterns I like not what some big wig at some company likes. I especially love the stores of my fellow cafemom etsy street teams store. We have such a huge variety of items. Everything from diapers to sweets, bows to ties. You need I bet we have it.

Single coaster

So last night I started a quilt with this Amy Butler fabric and I ran short so that project is halted for a few days but I had some scraps left over and not wanting to waste them I decided to make a coaster. I then wondered if anybody would want to buy just 1 coaster. See I have enough for another but not sure if I want to make the match for this fella because then it's not one of a kind. I could probably make 3 more then have a set of 4 but what if a person doesn't need 4. What if there is only 1 person in the family and they never have company? See there really could be a person out there for this 1 coaster!!!

Welcome!!

So I started this blog as a shameless promotion for my etsy store, ( by the way its lovetostamp.etsy.com) but then realized that maybe somebody would like to here the ramblings of my obsession!!!

First a little intro about myself. I am a stay-at-home mom of 2 little men. Noah is 2 years 8 months going on 5 and Julius is 14 months going on 3. These little boys keep me busy but when I have a spare minute I am crafting.

Right now other then the boys life is crazy. This past summer our house got flooded. We got a whole lotta water. A full basement and 6 feet on the main floor. So I will probably be sharing some of that with everybody since it's a major part of my life right now and we are finally getting to the fun part (you know when its getting soooooo very close to being normal)
